Dicha canción formará parte de un recopilatorio de sus mejores temas en solitario titulado Back The Way We Came: Vol 1 (2011-2021) en estos 10 años de carrera ajena a Oasis. Este disco verá la luz el próximo 11 de Junio y el día siguiente, dentro del Record Store Day, tendrá una reedición especial.
"Flying on the ground" viene acompañada de un videoclip dirigido por Dan Cadan y Jonathan Mowatt, con quienes Noel Gallagher ya antes había trabajado para el clip de “We’re on our way now”, también tema inédito que estará en este disco.
